Beautiful venue for a smaller wedding

When my husband and I got engaged Station No. 2 was the first venue we visited and I immediately fell in love. We went and looked at other venues but we both knew from the second we set foot in this BEAUTIFUL space that we wanted to get married there and oh my god am I glad we did. This space is so beautiful so versatile and was everything I ever could have asked for. Donna and Drew were incredible to work with. They made everything so easy and with all that’s included with this venue, wedding planning was a breeze. They were so quick to answer all of my questions and lend a hand and always did so with grace and kindness. It felt like I was working with friends and throughout the entire process we didn’t have any negative experiences or interactions whatsoever. That helped put us at ease and helped us to actually enjoy wedding planning instead of feeling stressed out like is often associated with wedding planning. One of my favorite things about the space is that you don’t need a ton of decorations because of how naturally beautiful the place is and they have a huge inventory of decorations you can choose from which helped with wedding costs so much. Plus the upstairs apartment is gorgeous, so charming, and so spacious. It has tons beautiful natural light that made wedding day make up and getting ready photos so easy and so stunning. It made for a beautiful bridal suite and was a perfect place for me and my husband to stay on our wedding night. Our wedding day was everything we ever could have asked for and all of our guests were commenting on how much they loved the space and how amazing of a time they had there. You truly couldn’t find a better wedding venue if you tried.

We recently held our son’s rehearsal dinner at Station 2 and we’re so pleased we did. Donna was exceptionally helpful with ideas and very easy to contact. She responded quickly and is a delight to talk with. Our guests enjoyed the ambiance and charm of both inside and outside in the courtyard. The exposed brick interior along with the ivy courtyard lit with Edison lights provided the perfect backdrop for photos and set the mood for a magical relaxed evening. We had 45 guests and there was ample room for everyone to mingle in groups as well as the catering staff. We took advantage of the cozy upstairs loft apartment and all I can say is “Perfect”. We highly recommend Station 2.

Beautiful Venue inside and out

This is a beautiful venue inside and out. The outside garden area was very whimsy and the perfect setting for the wedding ceremony we attended. The inside was rustic and a little industrial with all the exposed brick so it was a great combo. I really loved the time we got to spend here and would love to return someday for another event.

This was absolutely the BEST experience from the initial outreach to final event departure. All I can say is it's due to Donna, Donna, Donna!!! I read reviews about Donna being available, attentive, responsive, accessible - I feel my summary is she’s a consummate attentive hostess!!!! She makes sure your event has everything needed and then some. And her team!!!! We hosted our son and daughter-in-law’s Welcome Dinner/Rehearsal Celebration @ Station No 2 June 22,2022. The motivating factor for this location was that fact our son was a Leland FF/EMT (actually I think Horry County FF/EMT at the time transitioning to Leland) and his “now” father-in-law NYFD veteran - big, big ties and brotherhood of the FF department! Donna walked us through everything from the venue to the beautiful rental above (refurbished fire house) where my son and groomsmen would stay the night. It was the absolute perfect background for the ‘day of’ getting ready for the groom, father of the groom, father of the bride and groomsmen to get ready. Such locked in, beautiful memories! I am grateful for the venue, Station No 2 but also the following for making it all come alive for the “Rehearsal/Welcome Dinner”: NC2 Events (aka me 🙂 - vision and planning Spoonfed - soooo many yummy bites! Guests were in “awe” and of course, the staff never failed to be the absolute best (this was our 3rd time). Kim and team deliver your vision and her delicious translation and expertise! Salt Harbor - over the top beyond “wow” floral design. They were our daughter’s wedding team…we were grateful to have a slice of their beautiful floral creativity for our son’s Rehearsal Dinner! Martha My Dear - outdoor lounge area and farm tables inside. Communication to delivery to set up…they only want the best….such a wonderful experience. Party Suppliers & Rentals - dining experience (plates, silverware, glassware). On top of details, wonderful recommendations, so attentive and responsive. Long overdue, so, so much fun!!!! Still relish in all the beautiful moving parts and moments. Thank you Station No 2…..but a BIG thank you to, Donna!!!

Wow!! If you are getting married in Wilmington and you don't check out the Station, you are missing out!! My husband and I got married here in October of 2022 and there are so many reasons we are forever glad we did! The ability to rent this place for the entire weekend was a lifesaver for us. We were able to set up everything the night before, host everyone in the suite upstairs for the after-rehearsal dinner, do a "bachelorette" sleepover the night before the wedding, get ready for the wedding just upstairs, and spend the night as husband and wife there afterwards!! Donna was hilarious and down to earth and the most responsive vendor I dealt with in planning. They allowed our dog Penny to sleep upstairs with us and join in the festivities. The entire property from the courtyard to the venue space to the firehouse suite are so beautiful and well done. We hardly had to do any decorating! Needless to say, we enjoyed our time here and would do it over and over again. Go tour this place today!
