Boutique Wilmington Wedding Venue
Your wedding is one of the most significant events of your life. We want you to create a cherished memory filled with romance, family, and love. Consider saying your vows at one of Wilmington’s most historic and unique wedding venues. Built in 1915, the Firehouse was home to Engine Co. 2 at a time when fires were fought with horse-drawn wagons. Upfitted as an event space in 2017, the Firehouse derives elegance from its history.
The building boasts natural charm with a large red fire door, original floors, exposed brick walls, and tin ceilings. Just outside is a private garden with jasmine-covered original iron ladders, perfect for cocktails or a small ceremony. After the reception, escape to the upstairs suite, a beautiful, yet cozy getaway. This is a wedding venue built for memorable moments.
Firehouse Bridal Suite
In addition to the rental of the wedding venue and courtyard, all of our happy couples receive a one-night stay in the upstairs Firehouse Suite, checking in at 3pm the day of their wedding and checking out at 11am the following day. Please inquire about renting the suite for longer.
The Firehouse Suite is the perfect location for a bridal party to get ready for the wedding ceremony & reception. The kitchen may be used by their caterer.

Station No.2 wedding venue accommodates a maximum of 80 guests.
Can I use outside vendors for my wedding?
Absolutely! We collaborate with a variety of amazing local vendors. If you are planning to use caterers for your wedding reception, please be aware that all caterers are required to be licensed and approved by Station No. 2. Is a wedding coordinator/planner required?
All weddings booked at Station No. 2 are required to hire a Professional Day-of Wedding Coordinator. A Day-of Wedding Coordinator will meet with you and walk through your event to create a seamless timeline of your day. They will be onsite to set up your décor items, meet your vendors, and handle all wedding-related details. We are happy to recommend a local and experienced Wedding Coordinator.

Wedding venue reservations require a signed rental agreement accompanied by 50% of the total cost. Remaining balance due 30 days prior to event.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own beer or wine to our venue. However, if you plan to serve liquor, you must obtain a North Carolina ABC Limited Special Occasion Permit. For assistance with bartending services, please refer to our vendor list, which includes trusted local bar professionals.

The venue was clean, beautiful, and the owners popped in immediately if we had questions. They were the most affordable and the fully furnished upstairs made everything so much easier. We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner here, and the setting was outstanding! Donna helped me all along as I planned it; she was so easy and fun to work with. Drew was our bartender; he was terrific! Every guest loved the uniqueness of this place.
We were looking for a venue to host a rehearsal dinner for our son and his fiancé and stumbled across the Station. It’s character and history added to the charm of the building which made it the perfect choice for our event. The staff was wonderful to work with. They were very responsive to all of our questions and requests. The rehearsal dinner turned out exactly as we had envisioned it. Station #2 is a gem of a venue in downtown Wilmington. It was absolutely perfect for us with the interior space and courtyard. We highly recommend.
We just had our wedding here this weekend and rented the entire place for the whole weekend (Friday-Monday)! We loved everything about this place! It is a family owned business and they were extremely helpful and accommodating! Any questions or concerns and even a late night call were all answered and the owner allows you to decorate exactly how you want for your special day. If you’re wanting a small historic and intimate venue for any kind of event, I would highly recommend Station No. 2!
Station No. 2 was the perfect location for our intimate wedding on October 10, 2020. Donna, Drew and Terry were amazing to work with. This historic venue has had several upgrades and provides a beautiful venue that is conveniently located to downtown Wilmington. The upstairs Firehouse Suite provided a large space for us to host our rehearsal dinner and served as my bridal suite. The large red doors and exposed brick were gorgeous backdrops for our photos. I highly recommend Station No. 2 for your event!
